Allegations of Misconduct

Ansis Publications addresses allegations of research misconduct in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices (https://publicationethics.org/core-practices). Authors are expected to review the journal’s author guidelines and ethical policies before submission and comply fully with these standards. While authors may suggest potential reviewers, all reviewers’ qualifications and potential conflicts of interest are carefully evaluated before assignment.

Reports of misconduct may relate to either published articles or manuscripts under review.

Complaints are handled with confidentiality, sensitivity, and fairness through the following process:

  • The editorial office receives a complaint detailing the alleged misconduct, such as plagiarism, including highlighted passages and references to the original and suspected work.
  • An investigation is initiated, with communication between the journal editor and the corresponding author(s) of the article in question.
  • The corresponding author(s) are asked to provide a factual response and any supporting evidence.
  • If the author(s) acknowledge the misconduct:
    • For published articles, corrective actions such as an erratum or retraction may be implemented.
    • For manuscripts under review, the author(s) may be asked to revise the manuscript as appropriate.
  • If the author(s) fail to respond within the specified timeframe or provide an unsatisfactory explanation, the manuscript may be rejected permanently. Expert input from relevant institutions or authorities may be sought before a final decision.
  • The complainant is notified of the outcome, and the case is considered closed after resolution.

Ansis Publications is committed to ensuring that all allegations of misconduct are investigated thoroughly, objectively, and in line with international ethical standards.
