Appeals Process

Ansis Publications welcomes further discussion following the publication or rejection of a manuscript. Authors may appeal a rejection, request additional discussion, or seek post-publication revisions by contacting the Journal’s Publication Office at ansispublications@ansispublications.com.

When submitting an appeal, authors must provide a detailed justification, including a description of the situation and point-by-point responses to the reviewers’ and/or editor’s comments. Appeals are accepted only from the original submitting authors, and all information will be treated confidentially.

The Journal’s Managing Editor will forward the manuscript and all relevant information to the Editor-in-Charge (an Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board member without conflict of interest), who will make a final and binding decision.

Appeals will generally be considered only if:

  • The authors can demonstrate that the decision was based on an error by a reviewer or editor.
  • Significant new data can be provided.
  • There is clear evidence of bias in the review process.

If an appeal is successful, authors will receive instructions for the next steps. The editor may choose to send the authors’ response and revised manuscript for additional peer review if warranted.

Ansis Publications adheres to the Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics as stipulated by OASPA and COPEensuring fairness, transparency, and integrity in the appeals process.
