Data Availability Policy

Ansis Publications is committed to promoting transparency, reproducibility, and integrity in research. Authors are required to include a Data Availability Statement in all articles that report results derived from research data. Provision of this statement is mandatory and will be verified as a condition of publication.

Data Availability Statement

Data Availability Statements should clearly indicate where the data supporting the results can be accessed. This may include:

  • Hyperlinks to publicly archived datasets analyzed or generated during the study
  • References to structured repositories (e.g., Figshare, Dryad)
  • Notes on data accessibility, including any embargo periods before public release

Authors must also provide Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for all publicly available datasets and/or code. For unstructured repositories or source code, authors may deposit files in public repositories (e.g., GitHub) or provide them as supplementary material. Authors must ensure that data and code are accessible to readers upon reasonable request.

Copyright and Licensing of Data

Data sharing should respect copyright and licensing policies:

  • Author Retains Copyright: The author maintains copyright over the article and associated data.
  • Author Transfers Copyright: The author transfers copyright of the article and associated data to Ansis Publications.

Published datasets may also be released under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Public Domain Dedication to allow unrestricted reuse, redistribution, and sharing.

Source Code

For any specialized scripts or programs necessary to reproduce results, authors must:

  • Deposit the code in a public repository (e.g., GitHub), or
  • Upload the code as supplementary material alongside the manuscript

By adhering to this policy, Ansis Publications ensures that research findings are verifiable, reproducible, and widely accessible, supporting transparency and trust within the scientific community.
