Complaints Process

Ansis Publications provides a clear procedure for raising concerns regarding scientific content, editorial processes, or publication ethics. All complaints are treated confidentially and handled in accordance with COPE guidelines.

How to Submit a Complaint

Complaints should be submitted in writing to the Journal’s Editorial Office at ansispublications@ansispublications.com, including:

  • The nature of the complaint (e.g., ethical issue, misconduct, editorial decision).
  • Supporting evidence or documentation, if applicable.
  • Details of the manuscript or article involved (journal name, manuscript ID, or DOI).
Complaint about Scientific Content

Authors may contact the journal to lodge a complaint regarding the scientific validity or accuracy of published work.

  • The Editor-in-Chief or handling editor will review the complaint along with reviewers’ reports to determine whether:
    • The original decision should be upheld.
    • An independent opinion is required.
    • The complaint merits further consideration.
  • The complainant will be notified of the outcome and explanation where appropriate.
  • Decisions are final, and priority is given to new submissions over complaints or appeals.
Complaint about Editorial or Peer-Review Processes

Authors who wish to raise concerns about the peer review or editorial process may contact the journal directly.

  • The Editor-in-Chief and handling editor will investigate the matter.
  • Appropriate feedback will be provided to the complainant.
  • Relevant findings may be shared with stakeholders to improve journal processes and procedures.
Complaint about Publication Ethics

Ethical concerns, including plagiarism, conflicts of interest, data fabrication, or other misconduct, should be reported via ansispublications@ansispublications.com.

  • All complaints are reviewed confidentially.
  • Investigations may involve authors, editors, reviewers, or institutions to ensure proper resolution.
Review and Investigation
  • All complaints are treated confidentially and assessed promptly by the Editorial Office, in consultation with the Editor-in-Chief or an independent Editorial Board member without any conflict of interest.
  • The complaint may trigger a formal investigation, which could include communication with authors, reviewers, or institutions involved.
  • Stakeholders are given the opportunity to provide their perspective during the review of the complaint.
Resolution
  • After review, the complainant will be informed of the outcome.
  • Possible outcomes may include:
    • Correction, erratum, or retraction of a published article.
    • Revision or re-evaluation of the editorial decision.
    • Implementation of editorial or procedural changes to prevent recurrence.
  • Once resolved, the complaint case will be considered closed, and any further action will be handled according to COPE guidelines.
