All authors must have contributed sufficiently to the work to take collective responsibility for its content. Authorship credit should be based on substantial contributions to the conception and design, execution, or analysis and interpretation of data. Additionally, all authors should have participated in drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content and must have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript.
Ansis Publications clearly outlines the following criteria:
Individuals who solely contributed to funding acquisition, data collection, or general supervision of a research group do not meet the criteria for authorship and should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section.
The corresponding author assumes primary responsibility for communication with the journal throughout the manuscript submission, peer review, and publication process. They typically oversee all administrative requirements of the journal, such as managing authorship details, ethics committee approval, clinical trial registration, and collecting conflict of interest forms and statements. These responsibilities may be delegated to one or more co-authors as needed.
All individuals who do not meet the aforementioned criteria for authorship should be acknowledged in the 'Acknowledgements' section.
Except under exceptional circumstances, the Journal does not permit the addition or removal of author names after submission without a detailed written explanation. Any proposed changes to authorship must be accompanied by a satisfactory explanation.
Removing an author necessitates obtaining a letter of consent from any individual whose name is to be removed, confirming their agreement to this change in authorship.
Due to the complexity of these regulations, we strongly recommend that authors carefully finalize the list of authors and their contributions to the paper before submission. It is advisable not to attempt to make changes later.
