Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Journal of Computer and Communication Networks (JCCN) is a fully open access journal operating under an Open Access publishing model. All published articles are freely accessible online immediately upon publication. To support editorial management, peer review administration, online hosting, and long-term digital archiving an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted manuscripts.

APC Details
  • Standard APC: USD 800 (exclusive of applicable taxes)
  • The APC is charged only after manuscript acceptance
  • No submission fees or peer review fees are charged
APC Coverage Period
  • Until 31 December 2026, all publication costs are fully covered by Ansis Publications (UAE)
  • During this period, authors are not required to pay any APCs
  • From 1 January 2027 onward, the standard APC of USD 800 will apply
Payment Responsibility

The APC may be paid by:

  • The author(s)
  • The author’s affiliated institution
  • Research funding agencies or sponsors
APC Waivers and Discounts

Ansis Publications supports equitable open access publishing and offers APC waivers and discounts under the following conditions:

Full APC Waiver
  • Available for corresponding authors from low-income countries, as classified by the World Bank (July 2021)
Eligible Low-Income Countries (100% waiver):

Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Togo, Uganda, Yemen

50% APC Discount
  • Available for corresponding authors from lower-middle-income countries with a GDP below USD 200 billion (World Bank, July 2021)

Authors must apply for waivers or discounts at the time of manuscript submission.

Waiver and discount decisions are made independently of editorial and peer review outcomes.
