The Author’s Kit provides guidance to assist authors in preparing, submitting, and managing manuscripts for the Journal of Computer and Communication Networks (JCCN). Authors are responsible for following all journal policies, submission procedures, formatting requirements, and deadlines throughout the submission and peer review process.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that they are referring to the most current version of the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are available on the journal website. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s scope, formatting standards, or submission requirements may be returned to authors or rejected without peer review.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and are checked for originality. The journal uses Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate) to identify potential plagiarism, including text overlap, duplicate publication, and self-plagiarism. Cases of suspected plagiarism or unethical publication practices are handled in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Authors are expected to ensure the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their work. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission, and other forms of publication misconduct are not tolerated and may result in rejection, correction, retraction, or further editorial action.
The Author’s Kit is periodically updated to reflect changes in editorial policies, ethical standards, and submission requirements. Authors are encouraged to review the Author’s Kit carefully prior to submission.
